TheMOBISCREENscalpingscreensareused,forexample,beforethecrushingprocessformaterialsorting.Coarsescreensurfacessuchasslottedgrates,fingerscreensandpunchedplatesareused.Differentplantversionsareavailablewithdouble-deckscreeningunits.Scalpingscreensaredesignedsuchthattheycansortmaterialevenbeforethefirstcrushingstage.Forthispurpose,differentscreeningplantversionsareavailablewithdifferentscreencasingsizesasdouble-deckscreeningplants.Dependingontheplant,feedmaterialcanhaveafeedsizeofupto500mm.Thankstotheircompactdimensions,theplantsareeasytorelocateandtransport.

Duringthedailyroutine,screensurfacesarereallyputtothetest.Toguaranteelong-term,reliablescreeningtothedesiredfinalgrainsize,thescreensurfacesfromKLEEMANNaremadeofparticularlywear-resistantspringwiresteelorroundwire.Thankstothedouble-anchoringatthecrossings,theyhaveahighmeshstabilityforuniformscreening.Thescreeningresultitselfisdeterminedbynumerousfactors.Themostimportantinfluencefactorsincludethegrainshape,thehumiditycontentandthefeedvolume.

Electricityisoftencheaperthandiesel.Addedtothisareecological,legalorsocialprovisionsthatoftenrestricttheuseofdiesel.ThescreeningplantsareequippedwithaDualPowerSystemwithtwoelectricmotorseachwith37kW(50PS)forhighworkoutputcombinedwithlowfuelconsumption.Connectionismadeviaanelectricaldevice.Thispermitsaquickswitchbetweentwopowersources(dieselengineorexternalpowersupply).Usersthusremainflexibleandthepollutantemissionisreduced.
